The Corpse Bride

The stop-motion animation film The Corpse Bride is centered around Victor (Johnny Depp) who wants to marry Victoria (Emily Watson). While practicing his proposal in a graveyard, Victor places the ring onto a small tree branch, which is revealed to be the hand of Emily (Helena Bonham Carter), a corpse bride who takes Victor to the land of the dead. Victor must try to get back to the land of the living before Victoria marries someone else. 

Addams Family Values

Gomez Addams (Raul Julia) and Morticia Addams (Anjelica Hustan) are ready to welcome a new baby boy, but their other children, Wednesday (Christina Ricci) and Pugsly (Jimmy Workman), aren’t thrilled. Wednesday and Pugsly try countless times to kill their new baby brother, getting them sent to the worst place on Earth: summer camp. Not only do they cause familiar trouble, but Uncle Hester gets married, resulting in only more chaos for this freaky family. 

The Conjuring

The Conjuring takes place in the 1970s, when the Perron family moves into a house haunted by a supernatural presence. Carolyn (Lili Taylor) and her husband Rodger (Ron Livingston) call demonologists Lorraine (Vera Farminga) and Ed Warren (Patrick Wilson) to help. As the movie goes on, more paranormal secrets are revealed, and it turns out the Perrons aren’t the first family to whom such events have happened. The Warrens must get the family out of the house before it’s too late and even more lives are lost.  

The Conjuring, directed by James Wan, describes the paranormal events of a haunted house.
