Did you realize that Halloween is less than a month out? Worried you don’t  have a costume yet? Well, here are some ideas for the spooky day.

We’re almost halfway through October, and Halloween will be here before we know it. One of the staple activities of Halloween is dressing up and adorning ourselves with all sorts of scary, funny, or cute costumes. A few South students shared their favorite Halloween costumes.

“I think my favorite Halloween costume would be something classic like a witch or a black cat because they’re easy to throw together and everyone will recognize what it is,” sophomore Maddie Moore said.  Both these costumes are simple to quickly put together. You just need an all-black outfit and a witch hat or cat ears.

Some students opt for the classics, while others go for more unique options.

“I really like the Austin Powers fembot because it’s just fun, it’s really cute for Halloween and you get to have cute, big hair,” South senior Oonamae Green said.

These costume ideas are very different, but both very good options! Below are more costume ideas. Get together with friends, shop or thrift for the materials, and have a super time getting ready for and celebrating Halloween!
